💯 I sent an email to LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell that protested the way his officers often try to get the horses to run into or trample pedestrians.

The “riders” get 2 weeks training. I’m surprised they even know which end of the horse is the front.

The horses deserve better.

One of the most immediate and impactful things we can do right now to stop forever wars, is to divest from the war machine. Over decades, the military and policing have become increasingly privatized. Vote for people over profit.

And do we have faith that she's suddenly going to change her ways if she becomes Mayor? Why would we? She's given us no reason to believe she will defund the LAPD and direct city funding to the much needed areas like housing, food, basic neighborhood maintenance, etc...

How much more of this gaslighting can we take? Nithya Raman is running as a progressive candidate- a supposed champion of the people- someone who came up through Working Family's Party. How are her policies and voting record reflective of a candidate for the people? They're not.

Traveled out of JFK this morning and the ICE agent at security asked my 3 year old “What’s your birthday?” Maybe he was joking but he waited for my toddler to respond and didn’t crack a smile once. Is this a thing anyone has experienced?
