The Mackenzie Valley Highway will finally get built.

With construction starting this summer, the highway is going to be a gamechanger for the North.

Fantastic canvass in #Lanark Village today! Heard from residents about cost of living & fuel price concerns as well as the need for child care spots & hope for a greater economy. The PM received good reviews & our efforts to listen were warmly received. Heading to Beckwith next!

Attended Sharbot Lake town hall Sat to hear residents’ concerns re Alto. The gravity & impact on residents was heard loud & clear. Community discussion was greatly appreciated. Thanks Councillor Nicki Gowdy! We can make a difference - keep sharing your concerns on the Alto site.

Today, we remember the fourteen young women whose lives were stolen at Polytechnique Montréal 36 years ago.

Their names are a solemn reminder of the devastating toll of gender-based violence — and the responsibility that comes with our remembrance.
