i watched conclave yesterday and still thinking about it. highly recommend it, especially going into it knowing as little as possible, i was spoiled on the ending twist and it still made my heart soar. i am what god made me!!!💥

anyway im very happy with where im at, and i need to remember its good for me to talk about it whenever I want to :,) fellow psychotic people i love you so much, i hope the world only gets kinder to us.

when i was coming to terms with it, i talked about it a lot, and i was overwhelmed by how many people were sympathetic or politely curious. and i don't need to be afraid anymore. every day i feel so blessed to have family and friends who understand and accept me fully

i never got into my more severe mental issues with my therapist as a kid because i was afraid of being institutionalized, never told the friends i lost touch with why i wasn't hanging out with them. but nobody should have to fear that!! its hard enough to go through, there should be no shame in this

what little of psychotic disorders is discussed in wider circles is so soaked with dehumanization and fear---even in neurodivergent/mental health circles, psychotic people are a common scapegoat, and even in popular portrayals that ARE sympathetic, psychotic people are still often seen as violent

sometimes i feel like i never shut up about being psychotic, and then i remember why i never shut up about it---that because i didnt talk about it when i was younger, it led me to be more isolated and MUCH worse off---and then i talk about it some more
