RFK Jr: I terminated the COVID vaccines because it didn’t make any sense. COVID is gone.
Note: From July 2024 to June 2025 in the US, COVID19 caused up to 450,000 hospitalizations and 53,000 deaths.
COVID ain’t gone, shitbird.
I get the funny feeling the Supreme Court is not eager to take up President Trump's appeal in the E. Jean Carroll case. www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx...
White House staffer Margo Martin tweets "Congratulations, Georgia Women's Tennis" with a photo of Trump and a bunch of dudes and some female heads way in the back
i had to triple check that this wasn't from a parody account
HASSAN: I agree all should have access to healthy foods, but Trump has made it harder to afford groceries. Do high prices make it easier or harder for families to eat healthy?
RFK Jr: I would say that beef has dropped by 1% last quarter
HASSAN: No. Beef prices are up 20% since Trump took office
RFK Jr: "President Trump has a different way of calculating percentages. If you have a $600 drug and you reduce it to $10, that's a 600% reduction."
i think it is cool that the president of the united states routinely slurs black people as biological inferior
If you look at X after a Supreme Court argument, it’s almost always bubbling over with right-wing influencers suggesting that Ketanji Brown Jackson is stupid (usually based on a misinterpretation or a misleading clip of something she said during arguments). They also often just call her “Ketanji”
"you're being extraordinarily rude" in asking the most powerful law enforcement officer in the country if he told the truth in his own libel lawsuit.
They don’t need to tell us why. We know why.
Like my polyester slacks, no press
Thirteen U.S. troops died trying to get these people to safety — Afghan interpreters, soldiers, and the families of our service members. Veterans spent sleepless nights during the chaotic withdrawal fighting to keep them alive. Now our own government is going to abandon them.
This is horrific. I feel physically ill.

Now they’re talking about having Trump give Arlington back to DC
Ukrainian officials have suggested that a part of the country’s Donbas region that Russia is still fighting for could be named “Donnyland.” The proposal reflects a global reality in which governments appeal to President Trump’s vanity to get U.S. might on their side. nyti.ms/4mFRllr
Fascists cant be shamed. They arent committed to rules & institutions. When they overturn them there is no cognitive dissonance. A political strategy aimed at calling them out wont stop them, because the problem is not that they're inconsistent.
“Among the recent job cuts at Citi were scores of employees who were part of the bank’s “A.I. Champions and Accelerators” program. ... The program involves Citi employees who perform their day jobs while also working to persuade their colleagues to adopt A.I. technologies.”
If Adolf Hitler were suddenly reincarnated and installed inside the American government, one of the first things he would do is start investigating organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center.
The SPLC is America's early warning system for fascist, white supremacist takeovers of our country.
"Schonfeld adopted the word “randomonium,” first used by the rocker Frank Zappa in 1980, to describe CNN's fluid mix of content."
www.nytimes.com/2020/07/28/b...
they spelled it wrong
searching "randomonium" gets you the origin - Reese Schonfeld lifted it from Frank Zappa.
If not for Trump, what's the emoluments clause for? What's impeachment for? What's the 25th Amendment for? What's section 3 of the 14th Amendment for? What are checks and balances for?
The baddies are cherrypicking the Constitution the same way they do the bible: for their own benefit.
As a union that represents higher ed students, staff, and faculty (including at Fordham U), we are totally opposed to the bill in NYC restricting protests around educational facilities. We join CIR and @1199seiu.org in calling on @mayor.nyc.gov to veto Intro 175-B.

Scenes from a personalist regime: A nominee to an independent federal body refuses to acknowledge that the President ever lost an election.
WARREN: That's not my question. Are you refusing to tell us if you have investments in vehicles set up by Jeffrey Epstein?
KEVIN WARSH: Those assets will be sold if I'm confirmed
Rep. Robert Garcia: "Unfortunately, I have to announce that Democratic members will not participating. This roundtable is not a real hearing. It's set up to appear like one. We should be clear about why that's happening. Last week, Pam Bondi skipped a legally required deposition ... "
I noted yesterday that we would do well to describe what role the actions Trump is performing, rather than assuming he is functioning as President.
Mostly, Trump is an old man retreating into his lifelong hobbies: construction, cons, and corruption. With lots of golf.
Trump: I will remember companies that don't seek tariff refunds
TRUMP: BRILLIANT IF AMAZON, APPLE DON'T SEEK TARIFF REFUNDS
