A starfield filled with thousands of stars and shining clouds of dust. The Milky Way\u2019s elegant spiral structure is dominated by just two arms wrapping off the ends of a central bar of stars. Spanning more than 100,000 light-years, Earth is located along one of the galaxy\u2019s spiral arms, about halfway from the center. Credit: NASA

it's so deranged to have to work and be normal and maintain friends in times like these, I know it's necessary-- but like what the fuck.

Judas Iscariot was paid 30 pieces of silver for turning Jesus Christ in to the Roman authorities. But he made nearly 10 times that amount by placing a Polymarket bet accurately predicting the day of Christ’s death.

While antiquing today, I came across a copy of an important childhood relic that changed my life.

1998: 9 years old, at the registration page for @matrices.bsky.social's wolfpack chat and needed a "handle". I open the closest book to me to this page and I type in my new pseudonym:

Red-Eyed-Wolf

I would carry this pseudonym (although it would change, to Reddie or Redingo) for the next ten years, and the connections I made in that chatroom changed the course of my life forever

I found Yerf, VCL, deviantart through those chatrooms. I found MUCKs, I learned light coding.

I found community.

but the most important thing is that you are not a burden and other people's lack of capacity will never ever reflect upon you, it only reflects upon them. i can tell you can see that. HUG!! :D

i know i dont know you but i just want to offer it because you deserve a loving life, and walking through the trauma of people disappointing you is hard enough without also believing perhaps the worst about them, especially people you once loved

it is almost always more complicated than it appears

hug! one of my biggest things with my trans friends is i notice a lot of (understandable) defensiveness and i always worry how that festers in their hearts and starts to change their view of others, or worse, heightens their abandonment. i always want to emphasize boundaries & power

and not to mention the ego hits of that, if some """shithole""" country can sink our bajillion dollar jets, where is our "air superiority" now bro lmao fuck OFFFFFFFFFFF I hate this shit sfm
