We both use Goku characterization to fill in gaps of Byleth's. A well-meaning but nieve person who enjoys a good fight. Could definitely eat anything put in front of her. The big difference is Byleth is more closed off and less stupid I guess

Plus it's very blatant about how Empires are built on the bones of what came before. The elven empire was literally built on the bones of the Titans and the Tevinter empire is built on the bones of the elven one.

Yeah them being colonizers is fine and making the Dwarves the actual natives was really neat. I just wish Veilguard did more with it. Though some of Hardings lines in her personal quest are fire with a native lens.

I live the game for what it is, but some of the fandoms reaction to this game has been horrible. I don’t think I have ever felt so disconnected by the fandom than I do now.

Yeah this basically what I thought happened. A single player built from the bones of a multi-player game. It definitely sounds like turn around after the switch to single player was far too short. I still love the game we got but will definitely morn what could have been.
