I also had to dodge people harassing healthcare workers on the way to and from work and so many people thought I was overreacting about yhe harassment, except my fellow healthcare workers.

I work in healthcare. I am not patient facing, and I used to be able to work and then draw and hang out with friends.

6 years on and I am finally doing more, but even indirectly being exposed to SO MUCH DEATH has affected me in ways I will be unpacking for the rest of my life.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

And working in healthcare, even non patient facing, gave me agoraphobia that took me 2 years after lockdowns ended to actually get over.

I still find crowds overwhelming more than I used to before it all shut down.

I can pinpoint my ability to draw going to zero in march 2020.

I still have a hard time.

I had a fun day with pals! Went to a farmers market and got fancy mushrooms (after asking about flavour profiles like a merd) and expensive farm fresh eggs. And Japanese creme puff and tiny sourdough and amazing dark chocolate.

We did a little hike and I saw birds and turtles!
