That was the one I meant. I realized after I hit the *post* button that I’d forgotten to add Charleston.🙄.

The sort of car you could drive every day at 10 tenths and still not get a speeding ticket😉

A very handsome Morgan parked in France.
Just the car for the driver who likes the style of a Citroen 2CV, but who finds it to be technically too modern!

My personal favorite detail of the DS is the chrome nut above the rear reflector to allow you to take off the rear wing.

In the auto museum I was reminded how handsome the Bristol 401 is.

(I also discovered you should move your feet out of the way when you take a photo of a hubcap🙄)

Just been for a trip to England.

Stopped at the “Great British Car Journey” and took the chance to have a drive in a Triumph Stag. Great experience… !

Hardtop and convertible models of the Renault Floride out in the sun.

The slightly baroque style by Frua betrays the late 1950s origins with hints of the Volvo P1800 imho.

Both seem to have an aftermarket chrome radiator grille & the crown badge instead of the usual Renault lozenge.

The German auto companies made big job cuts as they struggled with the introduction of the Euro currency in the early 2000s.

Hyundai set up an office in Munich and hired top talents like Audi designer Peter Schreyer and BMW engineer Thomas Burkle.

A mixture of the exotic and everyday at the Nice Rallye this morning (Renault Twingo MkII, anyone?).

As they set off it was a Ford Escort Mexico that made the biggest impact with a seriously rorty exhaust!

Immaculate Renault Twingo (check the freshly blackened tires!) and an E-Class in a car park in rural Italy. The Twingo even has leather interior.

This was almost my 2-car garage when I lived in Italy in the 1990’s. Except my Renault was a Clio. And my cars weren’t so smart even then🙄

A Trumpchi, you say? Fake News!!!

If it was a genuine MAGA-wagen the grille would be solid gold. 🤨

Walking across the border from #Italy to #France, I was pleased to spot some quirky cars.

Though the Fiat and Innocenti were in France and the Citroen on the Italian side of the border.🤷‍♀️

By the 1980’s the Secret Service budget would no longer stretch to an Aston Martin, but Bond still insisted on having an ejector-seat fitted to his cars.

I reckon the driver of this #Fiat just came to the gas station to laugh at the other drivers having heart attacks when they see how much a tank of gas costs for their modern SUV.

He probably last filled up when Berlusconi was still Prime Minister 🙃

I’m in a bit of a competition with my daughter as to who has the best car spots.

I think she has won this week.
