Nah, Whimsy's on there too I'm sure. Think they just released their new vibe-coded calendar assistant and it's going to change everything

TIL: "Stan" was released almost a year after "The Ballad of Chasey Lane" by Bloodhound Gang. I don't know what this means, but the fact that I only named one of the artists and you still probably got it suggests something

A man just ordered a pint of stout and a half of lager in the bar I'm in right now and is drinking them simultaneously, a sip of each at a time... My mind is blown

I'm hoping for a much more sensible (and hopefully even warmer) winter next month when I land in Tokyo.

After 5 years at a pretty consistent 30C coming home for this winter was most definitely a mistake.

Ok, it's pretty awesome how easy adding comments to a static site via Bluesky is. Moderation via likes should be pretty trivial too.

Having a standardised "add a script tag" way from bluesky devs would help encourage good-api-user-behaviour - someone should do that

Thanks chuck 😅

The source code to include these as comments is silly trivial too (jasonkelly.dev/js/main.js), open APIs are rad

Here's a blog post I wrote a while ago about how important Acceleration is for software teams.

It's also my first go at including Bluesky replies as comments on my static site posts. This is my new favourite open internet thing (if it works)

Anyone built a way to power static website comments via bluesky posts yet? Feels like this should be a thing

Been tinkering with OpenAI's Realtime API lately and it's pretty impressive in speed and competency, not to mention compiling audio at the end of it is way cool.

But, _damn_ if I wouldn't mind some quality of life features. The developer experience is a bit like pulling teeth with all the events.

Treated myself to a beer this afternoon whilst working on a side-project when some older chap at the bar asks me to explain how await/async + deconstructing works in #JavaScript. He was learning in his spare time.

Was so wholesome that I kinda miss teaching juniors now.

Today I'm angry at AWS for now charging me for public IPV4s, but not providing any sane ways to use half their stuff with IPV6 :/

Time for yet another free-tier hunt methinks
