Does player count change the experience? That's today's question #boardgames➡️ www.instagram.com/p/DW0f5K3mLq...
Stone Age was our early worker placement game, think that's why we skipped Viticulture. Funnily enough we had cheese and grapes with our game, but it was 10am 😂
We've only played once so far but liked it. Definitely speeds up the first few rounds where you're usually just trying to get money, and it feels faster overall. I played badly so need another go!
We only discovered Viticulture last year and it's become a firm favourite. I just need to adapt to the changes in Bordeaux better!
First play of Azul Duel in ages. I did not win 😭😂 #boardgames
Steph crushed me in our first play of the Bordeaux expansion for Viticulture from @stonemaiergames.com ...sorry not sorry for the winemaking pun! #boardgames

So, what did we play in March?
We started the month strong with a couple of three player rounds of Viticulture.
We also got a couple of games played from our shelf of opportunity, with Glenmore, Hare & Tortoise, and our first ever attempt at a TCG with Lorcana!

Where is your favourite place to play that isn't home? While we'd prefer to be nice and cosy at our own place, sometimes we do venture out, but the games come with us! #boardgames

Lord Farquaad looking down on our first play of Castle Combo in a while. Reminded me how great a game it is 😍 #boardgames
We get down and dirty today with Farm Hand, an Aussie designed trick taker from @grailgames.bsky.social

What's the most unique game in our collection? It has to be Animal Circus! #boardgames

Neither of us have played a TCG before but since we picked up a couple of Lorcana sets cheaply thought we'd give it a go. Pretty decent actually! #boardgames
What are your gaming turn offs? (PS ours is not Obsession, so you'll have to read it to find out!)

Apparently only a 10 card one, but with new patterns and animals. Due soonish
With a new expansion coming it seemed a good time to get Harmonies to the table. First play was a bit rough but we figured it out again by the second! #boardgames
Co-op, deduction and pressure, all in one game, and we actually enjoyed it! Didn't expect that! #boardgames

How do we feel about story driven games? #boardgames

First play of Glen More. Sort of like Patchwork meets Cacao with more crunch. Interesting! #boardgames
Only took us a year and a bit between buying the Extra Salt expansion and actually playing it. Not too bad right? 😂

Absolutely! We love a good bargain, especially one that has been well cared for!
Yay! What great finds! 😊

It reminded me a lot of Rum & Pirates and La Isla in places. I liked it, keen to get our own copy as this belonged to a friend
