it’s a great day for transphobes to eat shit

More rich people should retire and enjoy their money.
This made me laugh out loud.
Disney made the movie Frozen so when you googled "Walt Disney frozen", it would show results for the movie instead of the urban legend that Walt Disney cryogenically froze his head
It's pretty wild that Tash Cloud is considered too controversial for a league that's bringing Chennedy Carter back.
As foretold by prophecy, LAPD used their "first responder" drones to spy on No Kings protests and anti-ICE protests: theintercept.com/2026/04/20/l...
Update: Orlando taking a series from Detroit would be even more amusing.

I am actually interested to see how many verses he could make it through without veering off.
Time to sub out Isak and Wirtz. It's almost sad to watch the rest of the team try to get Wirtz going and all he does is pass back or turn it over. #YNWA
I am going to be a huge fan of whatever teams signs Salah for next season. Just an amazing player being shown the door by an organization making one mistake after another.
A pass to Florian Wirtz should be scored a turnover because that's what it will be.
"he never opposed a war on pacifist grounds"
Huge if true about the winner of the FIFA Peace Prize and the possessor of someone else's Nobel Peace Prize and the ender of dozens of wars.
He's the peace president!
I somehow ended up following a bunch of wrestling fans on here, and I am pretty sure I am never going to understand anything about it.
I don't think I like any of the teams in the NBA playoffs, so I'm trying to base who I root for on the funniest outcome. I think it would be the Lakers making a deep run behind the offense of Luke Kennard.
Live to sit on a taxiway forever because there’s only one gate that this plane can use, Southwest.
So, Lutnick thinks it's safe to be in the news again now, with Operation Epstein Files doing it's job in Iran?
Periodic reminder that if social media is blowing up with something you don't care about, you can continue to not care about it. You don't need to chime in with your not caring status.
Donald Trump whining about Mamdani's rich people tax.
I'm guessing someone has extra homes in New York.
Mamdani hasn't had time to really think about all that space he now has, because he spends most of his time at City Hall and around New York City. He tries to keep a semblance of his old life by getting around the city on foot, by bike or train. "If you spend every single day driving around in a tinted window security detail, you will have a very specific view of the city," he said. "You actually meet other New Yorkers and you break out of the bubble that so many have come to expect of politics, where politicians only seem to be spending time with other politicians or the people who donated to make them politicians."
I'd say that this applies to anyone traveling in a car in any city. Being in a car versus walking, riding, or taking transit fundamentally changes how you view a place and your relationship to it. I wish more leaders set this kind of example.

The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.

Imagine thinking our leaders are up to the task of managing AI when this kind of bullshit happens
LIV AND LET DIE

This app maybe needs less AI.
A player forced her way off a team last year to engineer reuniting with her partner on another team, so the subject of teammates in romantic relationships is relevant to the WNBA. As long as its handled respectfully.
Historian and journalist here:
PRO TIP: Media coverage does trend negative when you’re obviously losing a war that you started for no reason.
Turmoil? Powell continuing to be in charge is as steady and calming a situation as we can hope for.
“The average new car now costs $50,000. The median home price is $100,000 higher than 2020. You gotta pay $7 for a bag of f—king Doritos now. Prices are too damn high, and they won’t come down until Trumpism is replaced by a functional, responsible government.” www.sfgate.com/sports/artic...
