Many people who are not you and I made fortunes today because Trump TACO'd and they had advance notice he was going to do so. The often repeated pattern is as unmistakable as the offense itself.

We attended an A’s vs. Giants game at Oracle Park last season. So many Oakland fans in the stands wearing their A’s gear. The Giants clobbered them, of course. While we had a great time we couldn’t help feeling bad for the faithful who turned out.

Not to be conspiracy minded, but that apostrophe on “fuckin’” is really bumping me. Seems more like something Hegseth would bother to type out.

“The Frisco Kid” is a movie that struggles with its tone. Frank De Vol’s score doesn’t do it any favors in that regard… I suspect the studio pressed him to “make it like ‘Blazing Saddles’.” Still, it’s Gene Wilder, so well worth the watch.

Watching it as an in-flight movie was maybe not the optimal way to see it, but “Blue Moon” is terrific. Ethan Hawke is terrific. If you haven’t already, you owe it to yourself to see it.
