Truly horrible. When Kathy Hochul deigns to listen to anyone, it is to people like this killer, people who live in the suburbs and insist on driving their oversized vehicle into the densest place in America. #CongestionPricingNow
I certainly hope you are right!
Sure would be a shame if the governor's inbox was flooded with questions about #CongestionPricing.
I sure hope that they are negotiating! Any other alternative would be incredibly disheartening.
Maybe today is #CongestionPricing Lawsuit day

People hold a big sign that reads "Flatbush Deserves Better Buses"
We were proud to join Riders Alliance today to build a #FastBusAve!
Flatbush Avenue bus riders deserve better than 4 mph buses. We need safe streets, efficient buses, and reliable ways to get around New York City.
#CongestionKathy are we winning yet?
you have to wonder whether this would've been one of the cars congestion pricing took off the road gothamist.com/news/nypd-3-...
New worry just dropped. #Project2025
We're all waiting with bated breath.
I made a live crash tracker to support congestion pricing in NYC! Will any of my 19 followers see it here? Who knows!

My colleagues counted cars to see how much congestion pricing might've made this morning (about $200,000)
www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
“We Counted 22,252 Cars to See How Much Congestion Pricing Might Have Made This Morning -
We then came up with a ballpark figure for how much the city might have generated in an hour at those toll points.
The total? About $200k in tolls for that hour.”

a phased ramp-up of the congestion fee, to an eventual $15, with alternative funding sources to make up the deficit in the meantime, would be acceptable. implementable compromise is favorable to a drawn out court battle that stretches into a second Trump term where the pending program dies forever.
Kathy Hochul contains multitudes. A few weeks ago, she decided that what New York City needed more of was cars. Now that the nice folks at @transalt.org were kind enough to bring a whole bunch of them to her office, she has changed her tune and refused to accept them. What gives Kathy???
It's the New York difference!
A reference to the congestion pricing program that she indefinitely paused and the effect that that decision will have on the climate.
On the day that congestion pricing should've started, there's a flash flood warning in Manhattan(from a rainstorm that was undoubtedly worsened by climate change) and the arsonist herself Kathy Hochul was marching around NYC in an MTA pride t-shirt. I'm sooo tired and it isn't even Monday yet.
Screen grab from a video on the governor's own Twitter account showing her smiling and wearing an MTA Pride T-shirt (rainbow heart design with the MTA logo inside) at a Pride event. The text of the tweet is "Happy Pride, New York!" followed by a rainbow flag and the trans flag.
NYC congestion pricing was supposed to go into effect today. Let's see what Governor Kathy Hochul -- who intervened to prevent the policy leaving a multi-billion dollar hole in the MTA's budget and canceling service improvements and needed station upgrades -- is up to.
Oh. Oh no.
Do all of her advisors hate her? Why would she wear this on today of all days??
The toll so far from Kathy Hochul's #CongestionPricing reversal summed up in a single graphic, courtesy of @streetsblognyc.bsky.social. More cars on the road, more pollution in the air, more lives lost to traffic violence, more wasted time, less revenue. A dark day for NYC and the world.
Pissed off about #CongestionPricing? Have some new shoes that you still need to wear in? Want some new content for the 'gram? Whatever the reason, join us tomorrow at 3pm for a march from Columbus Circle to Times Square!!!
Telling that Gov. Kathy Hochul's first public event in New York City since her disastrous #CongestionPrice pause is at the grand opening of the Stonewall National Monument, where she will be free from any disruptions courtesy of the Secret Service.
Central Park went car-free six years ago yesterday.
People said it would never happen.
People said it would never be a success.
Now, it's impossible to imagine Central Park any other way.
(Congestion pricing would follow a similar course, FYI)
Haven't made your daily calls yet? Here's everything that #CongestionKathy has taken from us. Get mad and get on the phone!
Yesterday, the MTA Board made clear the repercussions of pausing congestion pricing.
By creating a $15B hole in the agency's capital budget, the "pause" will cause a host of projects to be immediately paused.
First, foremost, and by far the worst are ADA accessibility projects:
"We are going to give Governor Hochul exactly what she wants: More cars" in a sea of cutout toys
When Governor Hochul “paused” congestion pricing, she doomed New Yorkers to a city overrun by cars.
Now, we're asking you to chip in $5 (or more) to help us deliver thousands of toy cars to her — with the news cameras watching.

It's the day after the MTA board meeting and our next steps are clear. 1. Call call call. Call the governor. Call your federal reps. Call your state reps. Call your council member. 2. Come on out to a rally, make some noise and meet likeminded people! Don't let #CongestionKathy get away with this!
