She has come such a long way. Transitioning to a new home will probably set her back a bit again, but I think she will recover quickly. She recovers from stressful events here in hours now instead of days.

It is funny how one day they just decide they are ready. My current foster came out of her cave, while I was in the room, after 2mo and 10 days. Zero interaction with me before that.

Mikie flew to her new home in Michigan yesterday. 14 hours of airports and planes. She was in her new home at about 2am, by 9am she was already at work in the home office. Then she needed a nap. New name is Miss Sunshine.

Visiting Vets International were on island this week for a S/N clinic with the local shelter.
RCC trappers caught 89.
Many others brought in cats too. I don’t have the final number, but I know it was close to 150.
If we had more traps, we have brought so many more!

Dolphin, a black teenage kitten, who was hit by a car and needs a transfusion and supportive care before surgery can take place to fix her broken bones.

This is Dolphin, the kitten hit by a car. Right ankle dislocated, left humerus is broken, both sides of pelvis have breaks. She is anemic and running a fever. The last 2 need to be resolved before any surgeries.

This big tomcat has been seen with this lid stuck on him for 6 months. No one has ever been able to catch him. It is biting deep into his flesh. He is at the SCAWC clinic getting the medical help he needs, and losing his trouble puffs to add insult to injury.

A large feral tabby had a hard plastic lid stuck around his body, cutting deep into his flesh. He apparently has been like this for 6 months but couldn't be trapped.
