Last but not least my failed attempt at cover art

Here's an early design sketch and a portrait that gave me a confidence boost in my early art years. I was playing with lighting and a bit of story. Like I wanted to involve the feeling of "I NEED TO SEE THE CHARACTER MOVE"

Idk where imma take this but I'm open to character ideas and some feed back, how do y'all feel about the character?

I was originally gonna make short cover stories to help with world building but ngl got lazy...which is funny because I learned blender to help with making assets constantly 🤣😱🤌🏿🤌🏿 which in retrospect I'm good at... example smiling friends house

Sometimes I draw him bold to save on brain power... That and I keep playing with the idea of gene just having phases...

His hair is based on those flowers you tend to find in ponds and his design is heavily inspired by the neighbor of rockos modern life

He's a part of a special program Called A.R.D.V.A.K which was super set on making people better so to speak and in the mist of trynna get that to happen gene was on of the first creation aka failure class, so now he lives in basically a city that is akin to LA'S SKID ROAD.
