With everything that happened on Hawkins, after all the struggles to find a good apartment and move with Steve, to find a job and be established, Robin couldn't imagine all of this was happening. Finally, after so long dreaming with this and saving alongside her soulmate and roommate, they were arriving in Rome, Italy. Of course, it wasn't the main city she'd been dreaming of since she found that second hand French book all those years ago. It wasn't Paris, but at least it was better than Hawkins. She actually liked the idea when Steve mentioned it. He still had some family from his mother's side living there, and Dorothy DeMarco was willing to help with the tickets, with the condition that Steve would visit an old uncle and his cousins. Robin wasn't sure if it was more an excuse to keep Steve from lazing on the couch all summer or to look good for the family they hadn't spoken to for years. It wasn't her fault, Steve explained that his father wasn't up to let her travel that much, but now that they had divorced she could actually do it. They would arrive to Italy, spend two or three days, and begin a trip directly to Paris. Robin liked that idea better, she could see new places. It made her nervous, but she was up to this new adventure alongside Steve. She took a deep breath as she gave a step outside of the airplane. "Oh, smell that? Not exactly butter and garlic, but I like it."
