Really thankful the launch I saw from Florida a couple of weeks ago went off without exploding. That felt sketchy enough from Cocoa Beach.

I have my Walkman from high school (graduated 30 years ago this month.) Broke it out recently because I got a few records or singles in cassette a week or two before they hit streaming or the cd/ vinyl releases.

As a Detroiter, I hate to see it but damn, after last year... like the Lions and Tigers, they are coming out of an unexpectedly great year and going to head into one with all of the expectations and I'm all for it

I'm a Detroiter so... but I do own a nice Padres throwback hat so, yay!

I still need 5 & 6 to complete the series. Then it's just oddball things like the Thrilling Visions that he first appeared in. Been a 30 year slow roll in collecting the Carrot and his various appearances starting with the TMNT issues

No clue how long ago I bought it but it looks like I paid $20 for that one

If the constitution is still in operation, Trump's executive order abolishing the Department of Education is just a suggestion.

If Trump can abolish the Department of Education with an executive order, then the constitution is just a suggestion.

I sold merch for the Raconteurs right before this in Ann Arbor I think.

Wow. Literally have heard of only a couple of these and I think could tell you what 2 sound like (Tyler and Korn, who I'd be perfectly happy never hearing again)

Wow, there is missing the point and then there is whatever that person did, which seems to be on a whole other level of dissonance

I had tickets to see WWE Smackdown that night, ended up being the first episode from the Performance Center. Still have the physical tickets hanging on my wall in my office (formerly dining room)

Heck, a large percentage of packages I get from businesses like Macys are shipped via UPS but the post office does the final delivery.

My parents didn't bother with me, they put my teeth in a glass of water on top of the TV because I was too light of a sleeper but I assume if they were going to be under my pillow, I would not have been stoked. Plus side, I used to get Ewoks, which probably shows my age

The first time I remember seeing the show was New Year's 89 I guess when they must have reran the episode from a few months prior with the nude beach. I was 11 and it totally clicked, I had a new favorite show and that was that

Haven't really watched SNL in forever but caught the special in Sunday and have been working through the Music doc and the doc series and I honestly forgot how much I loved this show in the 90s, both live and the reruns. Absolutely incredible stuff, highly recommended if you have Peacock

Not the clearest photo but this is the lil guy hanging out on my porch.

I'll try to get a pic when I can. Right now you'd just see his back. I saw his face briefly last night when I was checking to see if he was still out there

Cut to yesterday, I go out to shovel after we got some snow and I notice someone in the shelter and on second glance. It's not a cat like I expected. He stayed all day and wandered off around 8pm but was back this morning. Makes me feel good that he thinks it's safe enough of a spot to hang out.

Kind of funny. Last year I built a nice insulated shelter since I had seen a few stray cats in the neighborhood and they like my porch. Started feeding them the Meow Mix I had for my cat since he got out on prescription food in December, on Xmas Eve I surprised an opossum munching on the food. 1/2

Sir, fyi it's been like 20 something years and the joke about neck tattoos has yet to be surpassed in my friends group. Even past me getting one in the back of my neck ( my old roommate never let me live mine down because of you)

Depends on the album, yours? Always front to back (sometimes starting with Revolution Summer because it's my favorite song in the record.) There is something beautiful about a record like The Volunteers by onelinedrawing where shuffle was encouraged for a different listening experience each time
