They got by with it for decades. Maybe change is finally here.

Tag me! I’ve marked five boxes already.
I’ve already marked off 5 boxes - protest a war, headache, road trip, start a project and eat smoked meat!
Want to debrief about the recent astrology transits and plot out what’s next? I host an astrology meetup tonight. You’re welcome to join if you’re in the New Orleans metro. Bring your chart, bring your questions.
Ugh
It's tulip time! The bulbs are starting to bloom at City Park. Athena and I appreciated them while taking a brisk walk this morning. Go see. #NOLAsky
Grateful that I have an amazing grant team at my university. They move so fast! I’d join them.
I made a savory bread pudding (aka veg strata) because a friend left sourdough behind after Mardi Gras and I had random veggies to use up. I mixed in pesto and this is delicious! New favorite menu item. What else should I try in a strata?
Sometimes the best thing about a set of transits is that it only happens once in your lifetime.
I’m looking at you, Saturn, Neptune & Chiron.
It looked like you had an amazing Carnival season! May Lent be fulfilling in all the ways we need.
I intentionally chose to turn off #RexComus last night. Although I've greatly enjoyed the social engagement of watching and commenting, I realized that giving it any attention at all wasn't a choice I wanted to align with any longer.
I'm fixated on quotidian choices, our everyday decisions about time and money. It's a mundane arm of economics, where "political dimensions pervade everyday, ostensibly non-political choices, particularly market choices" (Ann Lloyd, 2013).
EVERYTHING is political. Every purchase, every choice.
That too.
Given what we know about the Epstein files, events pairing old men with much younger women are even creepier. It’s time to end this. #RexComus
If my posts confuse anyone, we are watching #RexComus as an annual Mardi Gras finale in New Orleans. www.youtube.com/live/mHljI5J...
Bring the trumpets! Let’s do something. #RexComus
If anyone's wondering why #RexComus is a thing
I was trying to understand that reference. Thanks!
He was toasted that night? Pages seem young for that. #rexcomus
I’m so happy to see the #RexComus commentary. 💜💛💚
Woman smiling with strings of beads, happy Mardi Gras!
May the baleful rays miss you and the shimmering beautiful beads land smack into your hands. Happy Mardi Gras / Solar eclipse!
Remote viewing research from Stephan Schwartz shows huge civilization changes 2040-2045. The planetary cycles seem to support that narrative. These eclipse charts are potent in 2041 & 2045.
Astrological chart for Oct 24 2041 eclipse
Astrological chart for Feb 16, 2045 eclipse
To distract myself from this week’s astrology, I started looking at transits eclipses in the 2040s, after the next Jupiter-Saturn Great Conjunction. It is wild that Pluto enters Pisces as we anticipate big sea level rises.
In OPA’s last survey, the majority of astrologers were part-time practitioners. If that is you, what benefits do you see? Do you want to stay PT or is FT your goal?
It’s so therapeutic to focus on crafting Mardi Gras throws and costumes this year. Humor and hobbies are survival skills for mental health.
Couldn’t help watching the Moon and Saturn tonight, feeling somber at the last Moon with Saturn & Neptune in Pisces. It’s been a ride. End of an era. Then I thought about Robert Frost’s poem Fire & Ice.
Everything has tradeoffs.
It is. They re-appraised properties at the market height, driven by the short term rental craze & Insurance is insane. I count myself lucky that I’m spending about $8k/year on decent insurance.
