That wouldn’t be a bad idea, in my opinion. But either way, I strongly recommend reading Aftermath before Alphabet (which I also really liked - mostly).

I found the first Aftermath book to be a bit of a slog until close to the end. I liked the ending enough to give the other two books a chance, and am glad that I did; they were pretty good. The Interludes between chapters were sometimes really great!

Not maths, but ELA, here. I try to plan one week out, but only with a rough outline. I do my specifics two or three days in advance. There are too many times I’ll need to reteach or do a mini lesson on something spur-of-the-moment to go further out than that. Plans get ruined when I do.

Today is the last day of Summer Break for me (excluding the weekend). Meetings at school on Mon and Tues, then PD starts on Wednesday.
I could swear that summers keep getting shorter and shorter.

I’m currently sitting on about 2500 Pokémon living in the GBA,DS, and 3DS games. Having a hard time deciding if I should migrate them up to Home or leave them be. Been pondering this since the server shutdown back in April.

That looks neat! I love the Lego aspect of it. Will def look into that!
A buddy and I also went crazy with it, right around the same time. All of the 1st ed ships were insanely cheap, so we bought a ton of them each. Then, it was a rabbit hole of buying stuff on sale (May the 4th, Black Friday, etc)

I can barely describe my sadness that #X-Wing Miniatures has stopped production. Ships are already getting really hard to find, and those that remain are at exorbitant prices.
This was my first (and only) miniatures game, and I still love it.

Went with the spouse to see the new Deadpool movie this weekend. It was simultaneously hilarious, heartwarming, and disturbing. Loved it (even though Act I somewhat dragged on).

The reaction time on the table tennis players is just insane. I have a hard time even watching the ball with the speed it’s moving at. Super fun to watch, though! #Olympics
