The Big 12 was wide open this year. We really picked the wrong year to suck.

The top 5 ranked conference champs get automatic bids. No single conference is guaranteed a spot.

Boise State will be in of they win the Mountain West. Army or Tulane will be in over the Big 12 champ if they are higher ranked.

It’s improbable, but possible if our top teams keep losing.

I know BYU lost, but they've had a great year. Kansas is finally starting to live up to their potential.

I don't know if we have as much talent as we had last year, but it seems like we have more structure & discipline. That should pay off in the long run.
