If it's anything like my car it's harder to drive incorrectly now with the amount of tech and automation. Drift even 1 degree towards a turn or kerb without indicating and it forces you back into a straight line!

Very much so! Surge of arrivals from the US fill up the terminal in the morning then empty straight out onto Europe bound flights, and vice versa in the evening.

I now see why they've got 767s etc for such a small country. Must be the vast majority of Icelandair's business.

I've always known the US - Europe with a change in Iceland flow exists but I totally underestimated how (seemingly) high the number of people who actually do it is!

So glad I made the pilgrimage to New Jersey for a spin back in 2019! Need to find a new bucket list coaster.

I wouldn't say that's a bad thing! It's the opposite for me at work now - I've spoken to the same drivers day in day out for years now and wouldn't know any of them if we passed on the street. Not a bad thing putting a face to the voice!

It's on its second warranty repair now and third time off the road now, I've only had it 15 months. Had a total engine failure while I was doing 60 on the way home from work, it was terrifying really. It's going once it's back, can't be doing with it

Into the second week of the car being stuck at work waiting for recovery now after my latest episode of car nonsense.

No indeed, it does worry me especially with how high mileage it is (I've done 25,000 miles in 14 months) that it could be structural damage but I'll have to take the garage's word for it that it's fine I suppose!

Seems that way, the garage haven't found anything.

It just worries me now that something is structurally wrong because I'm sure the bottom of the car hit the road when the wheel went into the hole.

Suppose I just have to take their word for it.

Really starting to get quite down with my car situation now.

2 months on since my pothole incursion, two new tyres later, a full service and tracking realignment and it still doesn't feel how it used to.

Also I've just managed to spoil the result of a fifth episode out of the six episodes of the Traitors so far this series so that's gone well!
