I know the consensus on Crimson Desert has shifted since release, but I'm about 10 hours in, and that is increasingly feeling like cope. This game is a mess in a lot of ways. Not sure I can or want to stick it out for 60 hours.
The number of legible emails I have gotten since gen AI became a thing has gone through the roof. That's nice, I guess. I don't know if we need a trillion dollars in data center builds to make that happen, but here we are.
Trump not beating the antichrist accusations.
He does it in this article, too. God forbid we get to use social media without being smacked in the face by lies and hatred. And now he's bitching about what X has become? What does Nate Silver even want? I'm confused.
SLS is probably doomed because it's "too expensive." But we could have at least 10 SLS launches for what they've spent on a month of war with Iran.
$900 for the PS5 Pro is craaaaaazy. A 50% price jump from the base model! Component prices are getting bad even for companies like Sony. arstechnica.com/gadgets/2026...
Crypto scams and misogyny? Yeah, that checks out.
I don't necessarily hate the 24-hour cooldown. Bigger issues with dev verification are privacy and how fee collection could affect devs in certain places. Still looking into that. arstechnica.com/gadgets/2026...
I hope someone data-hoarded these.
God forbid you actually tax the ultra-wealthy. But hey, let's make sure the government has even less money for social services! Whoever reads BS for the Senator, please tell your boss he's misreading the room.
Or a bunch of stimulants.
Alex Karp is the embodiment of Dunning-Kruger.
Death Stranding did it.
2 million players in a few weeks seems pretty good to me? But what do I know? I'm not a soulless corpo overlord grown in a vat for the express purpose of grinding creative people into a fine powder.
Five AI notifications for a single package is insane, Google.
Love that for him.

So, that's not actually true. Active cooling systems exist, for example on the International Space Station. They're complicated and bulky, but it is possible to remove heat from a spacecraft or satellite with them. No clue if it's cost-efficient or reliable enough to scale for data center needs.
Jeez if only you were like in the Senate you could do something about it... wait a sec...
If only elected Dems were as pissed as their social media manager.
ICE is releasing chemical weapons, assaulting protestors, and kidnapping children in our state—the state you represent in the Senate. How disconnected from reality are you?
Gemini for Home is going just great.
First time in my life I'm hoping for absolutely abysmal weather. I want more videos of ICE slipping on ice, preferably set to yakety sax.
You can email me. Contact info is on Ars.
Someone whose work is public-facing ought to have thicker skin. I've been called every name in the book just writing about phones and shit.
You can tell they're from down south.
*shakes phone*
Oh my god, I've been hit by a car!
