Patient asked me to find him a specialist in network. He didn't like the last one. Then asks for "an American". Um, they're ALL American. You can't get a medical license in America without being legally American.

So, I officially started therapy on Saturday. First time in over 20 years. I already feel a little better. Just getting stuff off my chest and having someone validate my feelings was much needed.

I'm feeling a little better today. I've put in a few job applications. My current work situation is highly toxic right now and it's been like this for almost 2 years now. Which is a shame because I've been there for 11 years and aside from my one coworker, I love my job.
Not me still awake at 3am thinking about how maybe uprooting everything and moving to a new state might not be a bad thing.
I'm not doing OK right now, friends. I'm safe, but honestly only because I refuse to abandon my child.
