To improve you need people to criticize anything you do while having limited resources and time
Being able to make something incredible with tape and a paper clip is true experience
Not taking pictures for a long time with high end gear
Age isn't experience
Good gear can help in taking good pictures
But a good photographer can take good pictures with anything
And I truly mean anything
That comes from experience with criticisms
Taking pictures for a long time doesn't automatically = experience
I'm seeing a lot of photography furs putting way too much importance onto their gear
Over the years I started seeing gear less like a necessity and more like a tool
Good gear != Good Photos
And it feels like furs that put heavy emphasis on their gear often don't take good images
