Drawing is so frustrating. I essentially have to rebuild fine motor skills with this hand, but can only do so in short bursts. I'll get there I am just not a patient man.

Yesterday I was able to draw for about an hour before my arm got too tired. It was excellent. The day before I got to glaze some of my pottery I've had sitting around with some help from my partner and my brother. Getting back to normal as quickly as I can.

Things are on the up and up now and I've been recovering quickly, but I haven't been able to draw for almost 3 weeks now. I am super lucky to have a great support system and loved ones to take care of me, so don't worry, but I wanted to just give my little update.

Hey gang! So my last post was about me looking for after being unemployed. I am happy to report things have only gotten worse! A few weeks ago I completely broke my humerus on a new skateboard and had to have surgery to put a plate in, since a splint was majorly affecting my radial nerve.

I've used Figjam before and its actually really nice to have everyone in the space with you while you take notes!

The purist in me likes the Ortho, but the perspective view definitely feels a lot punchier. I think you're good either way. (Not helpful)

For the holidays I ran a little drawing challenge where the participants all had to draw a fantasy monster based on a traditional holiday food. This was my entry of a Pan de jamón demon and the little Hallaca birds that live along side him.
