What's next: We are working on narrowing down to 5 candidates per role. We will then coordinate with the finalists after closing to schedule script readings.

Regarding your project, you likely have to show more for actors to be able to better imagine the roles they're auditioning for. Specific bios about a character's background and what their motivations are. I am not an expert because this is our first time casting, but this is my educated guess.
Hi Juan, we likely got a lot of auditions due to being a paid project ($150/hr) as well as a lot of details on our game (website, comprehensive bios with character art) and folks vibed with the characters. The more you show your project is viable the more likely they'll want to participate.

I've been reviewing the #voiceacting auditions we have for #EIDOLWARE so far (324 submissions!) and there are many amazing VAs from indie to pro.
It opened my eyes to the depth of talent available. Knowing what's out there, it's hard to imagine why any #gamedev would resort to AI instead.

Since #EIDOLWARE contains hundreds of NPCs, I needed a quicker way to build sprites or separate parts out into individual assets. Doing it by hand in an sprite editor for dozens of characters was painfully slow. SpriteBat lets me layer them, tweak colors with HSL shifting, and export in seconds!

One of Fedora Mask's projects, he hopes to go beyond his "hard light" hologram technology to make Anime a reality.
Jared Jimenez is the "Ultimate Collector" and one of Fedora Mask's lieutenants. Jared believes the collectible vinyl figures known as Chiibos aren't just collectables, some of them are ancient vessels of druidic power. Scouring the convention for the four sacred Chiibos, he hopes to obtain a long dormant ancient power. The pic in the upper-left is the old character design from 2021.
