I had the exact same thing on a client harddrive a month or so ago. All other data recovery software failed but windows disk repair just solved it. Told them to use OneDrive in future and offered to ceremoniously destroy the aforementioned harddrive for them.

Just ask them all what phone they have. I can already guess the answer.

Being on bluesky feels like being home. Twitter has really felt like a dystopian network lately. I dunno if it's just because it's new though. I'm sure I felt the same way about threads and I only used that for a couple of weeks.
