I made my second loaf today and totally messed up! I have a double oven and when I went to lower the temp before putting the load in, I turned on the top oven, while the one with the loaf stayed at 550°. Luckily it didn't burn, but didn't rise well either.
I saw a thing this morning of a guy who blamed tornados in the area on new roundabouts and the cars driving in them. That has to be the single most American thing I've ever heard.
