Its a meme. It's an athf aqua teen hunger force twin peaks season 3 the return meme of Master Shake looking at the arm but instead of the white head it's meatwad ontop of the tree. Master shake is looking at the tree in the black lodge and he says "You look at him, and tell me there's a God"

just gonna follow up on this one really quick now that I'm awake

suppose the average view count per visitor in that month was something really high like 10 views — that still makes 6.2 million visitors, more than 1.5× the number of men in all of NYC

insane to see people getting pedantic about "oh it's 62 million views not 62 million people" my guy that still requires views from a shitload of different people, and repeat viewers are even more concerning, if anything

All The Footprints You've Ever Left And The Fear Expecting Ahead, by Envy 11 track album

Current listen (2026/04/16)

Been a while since I've posted one of these. This time I'm revisiting my favorite screamo album (which is very high praise given this band and genre I love).

I could see some benefit in a new adaptation that's more faithful to the books, but knowing how studios are, they're just gonna try to soullessly recapture the Jackson trilogy like they made him do on those god awful Hobbit movies

For some reason BR drivers LOVE getting in my blind spot and matching my speed a lot. Nah man, I didn't need to change lanes at all, I just wanted to stay on the interstate for the rest of eternity.

The Depletion, by Ecliptic track by Ecliptic

Here's a single for the next Ecliptic album, To Sima Semu'ul o Kuakul. This should give some indication to the shift in musical direction. I'll announce more details of the album at a later date.

I'm naturally one who can appreciate an atmospheric intro before going off the rails, but this one definitely ran for too long where the second song didn't really kick me in the lungs like I think was intended. Maybe if the intro was more like 30-40 seconds I would have gotten that effect.

as a chronically grumpy person that recently entered their 30s, I gotta say, feeling a need to rag on younger people for extremely trivial shit in order to feel better about yourself is absolutely pathetic

I get this role can beat us down, believe me

that's no reason to channel that frustration on your students, they're already screwed enough by how politicians and administrations have gutted the education system

and it's shitty to move the goalposts on requirements of your students partway into the semester with no good reason behind it

I say this as someone with 5 years of teaching experience, seek therapy if you act like this

if you're the type of instructor who complains about students more often than not, maybe you should consider a different career lmao

idc if it's behind their backs, idc if they're adults or kids, your students can feel that resentment and it affects their wellbeing in your class

I still need to make artwork for it, which I haven't really felt inclined to do as of yet but I do have some idea as to how I want it to look

opting to develop conlangs and write a whole short story collection for a fuckin 37 minute album was one of my choices of all time (I don't regret a second of it, it's just been a lot of work in a relatively new medium for me)

Asmongold is a piece of cryptofascist garbage that somehow manages to be more disgusting than the filth and squalor in which he voluntarily lives. He's anti-intellectual to the point of being actively hazardous.

Gotta love still having to patch worldbuilding decisions almost two years in because you've redrawn the world map and you need your multiple-millennia timeline of history to make sense without groups encountering each other too early

I'm having so much fun

Where this comes full circle, is that new writers who surrender themselves to not reading, instead of taking it as motivation to read more, are at risk of detaching themselves from the process
