Historically, America understood that when a madman with minimal expertise comes to you and says that you must become a monster to stave off a hypothetical future threat, that is a sociopath whose byword is fascism.
Some of us *still* see Alex Karp for what he is and represents.
We already have an unscrupulous cult posing as a major political party that will do anything at any time for power and to enrich itself—including sell out our country and its values.
Is it so insane to believe that the other major political party should stand up and say, “Stop”?
The Democratic Party is still searching for its identity in this century (which is sad). There is still time for the party to advance the basic precept that it does not give campaign money to, or promote doing business with, obvious sociopaths. This is not a particularly big ask.
I understand this may not be realistic. But this country needs more people saying, at the outset of a colossal mistake, that the pause button should be hit. Partnering with a madman and his shadowy firm will lead to dystopian results. Now is the *only* moment we could still stop.
This company is out of control and its CEO appears in nearly every public appearance to be disturbed in some way.

“His ideas and what he built are so ubiquitous now," a former Infowars employee explains. "It’s been in the White House for two terms. You have all these young people picking up the torch. It’s getting far worse. The damage is done.”
State-owned enterprises are central to Chinese policy in Africa.
Chinese SOEs wield significant leverage that can constrain African agency and priorities—especially in contexts where political will to protect public interests and enforce local laws and regulations is weak.

Första gången jag ser en politiker som tar med sig props och samtidigt lyckas göra en pedagogisk poäng med grejen.
The assumption that allegiance pledged to a nation-state of this fallen age and the baptismal allegiance pledged to Christ will not come into conflict is the height of folly.
