Those soaps that look like little macarons...

Some of you are wasting your time consuming soap, while I am over here consuming fresh bread dipped into home-made vegetable stew, with fresh-pressed mango juice.

Chaos Gremlin Johto gal convinced them for purposes currently unknown.

It does. Though we've thankfully gotten her to add better ventilation, and proper breaks for her gym trainers. Also a barrier that means you may break an arm if you fall off the side, but you won't burn alive.

You would possibly be surprised by how catastrophically bad some of the Johto gyms are with regards to the fire code... But I'm not allowed to really go in depth.

Let's just say it's, as usual, a Clair thing.

The teeth are so sharp looking, and depending on how one sees the pokemon, they can be seen as welcoming and fun, or alarming and intimidating.

We will always try to categorise - I mean, is that not what we do with Types entirely? - but I do find it fascinating how Dark Types in specific tend to get put as a counterpart to a single other type more often than not.

Ah, right, before I forget. I figured you might enjoy the mug.

I'm glad, because I'm not particularly good at *not* rambling when I'm comfortable with someone.

I imagine Andromeda would say 'pet me', and is in fact about to do so, based on how she's looking around the couch over there.

I find it interesting what types get dualities, and what those are.

The moment I was sent her interpretation of Aishite, Aishite, Aishite... I was sunk.

Of course, it was far than universal, but- ah, a moment.

Apologies. I started rambling even before the tea was done. Here you go - and yes, that *is* a Galarian Zigzagoon mug, abstract though it may be with one ear tuft missing.

For instance, in one region, Sneasel and Patrat were seen as being connected - Patrat being the half aligned to the physical world, capable of seeing ghosts but being unaffected by them, and Sneasel being of the spirit world, and on equal footing with ghosts.

Something you might find fascinating is that in several regions that lacked strong bug types, pokemon we know now to be Dark types were commonly assumed to be counterparts to some normal parts - similar to those old rumours about Gengar being Clefable's shadow in Japan.

Depending on the country and the era, people had wildly different views in some areas, but there were some interesting overlaps. For instance, even ancient peoples noticed the difference between Normal pokemon and those that weren't, despite lack of hard categorisation.

Oh it's no problem at all. I'm reading into pre-modern theories on how pokemon function - even before the works of Professor Laventon. A lot of it's pseudoscience, of course, in much the same way that the four humours were, but it's fascinating.

I've had this display picture for years... But none of the pictures I take is nearly what I desire... Not that much has changed. I'm as gorgeous as ever, but I don't think this picture does a good job of showing the blue in my hair.

I know exactly the one. Hm~

They're not new, but they're one of my less commonly worn pairs. I decided they'd suit today's outfit. I believe I succeeded.

Please, feel free to take a seat. Andromeda might try to sneak into your lap again - she's been affectionate today.

I do try to be a good host. And yes, I do. Any mug preference? Or shall I choose what fits the mood this time?

I don't mind at all. Last time she was on cloud nine for several days. Kanga, come on out. I- Heh, yes, yes, Karen being here does mean Umbreon is here.

See? She's already excited.

One of my friends is trying to get me into Vtubers.

A pokemon trainer to the end, really. I suppose that at least, many of us inherited across the board. I have yet to be made aware of a single Silver who isn't a strong battler, and only one alternate sibling who isn't - though she was with a Team so it's only natural.

That's a fair point. It is also one I'm considering, but I think I'd like to do something a young trainer can reasonably be expected to succeed at, either way. I also want to be up on the fire code. That is very important to me.

They were perfectly normal to me.

I've built dozens upon dozens of marble tracks, but that's the extent of my familiarity with building physical objects. I also don't completely know what is reasonable, either, as *apparently* some obstacle courses I proposed for a friend's event were full of "cruel and unusual design choices".

Oh absolutely fantastic. I feel like he's the most passionate person in the field, too, so you no doubt get to exchange many ideas, and to see his process.

I admit I'm tempted to speak to him, myself, now that you bring this up...

Precisely. It feels somehow wrong that their art left no proof. We speak of Vincent Van Gogh, of his struggles, of his art. He has gone down as a legend. His works hang in many museums... He survived in many ways beyond his suffering.

These men were not afforded the same.
