I have good days and bad, but in winter the bad days are like converting a unit of 'bad day' in Canadian to American. The exchange rate SUX.

I end up reacting to the loneliness and disconnection I feel, but it's not her fault, it's the system's fault.

for example - I sometimes get frustrated that my mom doesn't follow my lead as much on activisty stuff, but 'the system' keeps her so busy/at capacity that she doesn't have the spare bandwidth.
