Having a manager the calibre of Pep falling in love with the club, the city & the culture hits different. Klopp used to talk about his connection with Liverpool and rightly so, but Pep actually bleeds blue. Regardless of what happens on the pitch, he deserves endless respect imo.

No team "deserves" to win anything unless you are an Arsenal or Liverpool fan. In a perverse sort of way I have enjoyed (if that is the right way of calling it) going in to the last few City games because that feeling of total desperation if we should lose or even draw a game has gone.

If we have a shit season and purge ourselves of all the new “fans” who are jumping on the bandwagon then I would welcome that.
And maybe the media might shut up for a while as well but you know they won’t. Pep’s failure will just become a bigger topic for them to spout out about.

These days if we win it is expected, and if we lose it is unthinkable and a deep crisis, and it IS the end of the world, there is no enjoyment in that.

As a City fan of 60 years, all the shit that surrounds us these days leaves me cold, I used to enjoy the days as a fan turning up to a game with hope and enjoying it if we win, if we lost it was disappointing but shit happens and it wasn't the end of the world.

I find myself completely unfussed about us losing again today, and our recent losing streak.
Maybe a good stuffing is just what we needed.
