Being masculine is kind of freeing myself from the concept that I'm "a girl" in the eyes of others. I also like being feminine in many ways, but I'm struggling with looking at myself as a man when I'm embracing my feminity in front of others, because I don't feel like I will be considered a man then

I wanted to reply but I ended up writing too much so I can't put it in one message ! But in my eyes and hands, I see masculinity as a freedom / freeform for me to play with and model with my feminity (as a transmasc / trans man person). I think that defines it differently because we "obtain" it

I don't see the word masculine as tainted the same way than the word and concept of masculinity, even tho they're supposedly the same thing / concept. I don't know I would be able to properly define the difference I make between the two tho... Does it make sense ?
