I'm pretty sure the average number of dependencies is gonna go down. But not for the sake of web standards, I'm afraid.
I have been assured that I am "absolutely right about this".
Der Untersetzer für das Glas hat mich so peinlich berührt, dass ich gerade erst mal die Kaffeeflecken der letzten 3 Wochen weggewischt habe.

I tried it for a while but was really put off by autocompletion not working for some of my CLI tools. That's what finally motivated me to give a custom tmux config a try. Freaking loving my terminal since then. Also made me worry way less about the emulator. My tmux setup works regardless.
Alacritty with tmux ❤️
A fake screenshot of a Trello checklist, stating that the list is full and no more items can be added to it.
*adding it to the list of things that did not need to happen in 2026
The only good use case I found so far is copying snippets from VSCode into emails that should have been tickets, but $client has no ticket system.

Büsschen episch 😆
My brain keeps reading 'poopover' instead of 'popover' today. I guess I'm just having a shitty day.
A code snippet that shows that you can add an event listener to sth. like "[object Object]" and trigger it by dispatching an Event with any kind of object as the parameter.
Alright, so this is where it starts to get really interesting 😆
Guess I learned something new today.
Ahh, I guess that explains 'undefined' working as well? Interesting implementation detail and definitely not confusing.
A code snippet adding an event listener on 'null' and dispatching an event on 'null'. The listener is successfully executed afterwards.
WTF.. I had to try, seems like 'null' also qualifies as a valid event name 😂
I might have done a full 180deg on this. But I am now convinced that folks who find TypeScript annoying have either never really tried it on a large codebase, or just don't work on serious js projects.
Brought to you from a guy who used to hate static typing with a passion.
I ask the agent about the duplicate migration. It corrects the mistake and tells me that I should not create migrations manually. Because it is a bad idea.
Yeah, frack you. Apparently, we've entered the smart-ass era of AI.
I ask the agent to add a field to an entity. It creates a migration and runs it. Next, I run the generate command again and it creates a duplicate of that migration, b/c the agent created it manually and – of course – did it wrong.
Persönliche Meinung: Gute Comments === Gold wert. Doku.. joa, ist nett, wenn man einen längeren Essay darüber lesen möchte wie der Code zum Projektstart mal hätte funktionieren sollen.
Well, at least when I do it, it makes me look like a complete idiot. Which kinda matches my "dancing"-style when I'm on stage, so I guess it all works out in the end 🤷♂️
I think I now feel obliged to turn this into a punk song.
Front left: phones (work and private), front right: keys + Fisherman's friends, back right: wallet. Coins + emergency plectrum are inside the wallet.
I also do a little dance before leaving the house where I touch all three pockets to make sure they're not empty.
A screenshot of htop, showing all 30 gigs of RAM being used, as well as 8 gigs of swap.
No matter how much memory you buy, seems like Chrome will eat up what is available. WTF! 😵
I never want to hear complaints about tethered caps again...

Sauf!
Reminds me of the day that marketer in the office got really uncomfortable bc we were talking about putting models in their right place and sth about killing children in the correct order.
Ganz zufrieden, dass wir einen Rossmann in der Straße haben und der dm eine U-Bahn Station entfernt ist 😄

I usually don't bother reading release notes. But I love reading the @zen-browser.app notes when they pop up after every new release. I basically live in my browser these days and this one is the best I've used in ages.
