For more than an hour, workers were instructed to continue working as the man lay dead.
One worker wanted to help, but a manager told them to “Just turn around and not look. Let’s get back to work," according to @thewesternedge.bsky.social.
Apple is closing down the first of its US stores to unionize.
Apple says that because of the collective bargaining agreement with these workers, they "couldn’t offer to transfer them to nearby locations.”
The union is outraged, and exploring options to hold Apple accountable.
It cannot be stressed enough how much of the Liberal establishment, its institutions, and pundits, oppose the war against Iran solely because they believe the US should be threatening to destroy Chinese civilization instead.
Amazon is using subcontractors to hire and manage delivery drivers without officially employing those workers, all to skirt liability for damages or injuries.
The Delivery Protection Act, proposed in New York City, would force Amazon to take responsibility for these workers.
