Cheezburger via important cat pics: “For 16 years, she knew not to get on the counter. Since turning 17, she’s decided to start making up her own rules.” Pic is of a sweet and lovely cat sat on the kitchen counter between the coffee maker and wooden spoon holder looking innocently upward without a care in the world.

Just saw a kid run up to a MetroBus as it was pulling away.

The bus driver kept driving, but a woman on the bus yelled “STOP, that’s my son!”

The driver stopped and let the kid on.

The kid was not the woman’s son.

Not sure what’s more impressive: the rider solidarity or the quick-thinking lie!

Witness the elegance of the swimming Feather Star, a crinoid that dates back to the Ordovician era, over 480 million years ago. A true marvel of evolution in our oceans.

Separated Bike Lanes Means Safer Streets, Study Says — Streetsblog USA Cities that build protected lanes for cyclists end up with safer roads for people on bikes and people in cars and on foot, a new study of 12 large metropolises revealed Wednesday.

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

ALL ROAD USERS.

What about painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.

For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.

The first time I went to Banff I arrived at the Banff Institute for Arts just before daybreak. It’s completely surrounded by mountains; I got off the bus just as the sun clipped their tops. Gold cascaded down purple rock and no lie, no shame, I cried. One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen

Today's press conference: We pulled of a risky rescue and we're going to tell the world exactly how we did it. Our administration leaked about the second airman, endangering his life. We're super good at endangering more lives to clean up messes of our own making.

Accountability brings consequences.

And consequences are the only language corruption understands.

Money and political power do not outrank the Constitution.

They just need a wake up call and it’s coming at the midterms.👇

We are all on Native land; no govt has the right to continuously take from native peoples (and borders should not apply to them). Amazing these so-called ‘Christians’ fail to respect the religious beliefs of others. Don’t they say, what would Jesus do? Not this I reckon. Shameful
