I was hoping to travel across the pond to visit my sister in Long Island this year, but this kind of thing makes me reluctant.

This is such a shame.

I was lucky enough to interview an ex-Bluepointer recently about the Shadow of the Colossus remake.

“The old code was always the foundation, the bedrock the remake was built on,” he told me. “It was equal parts archaeology and modern game-making.”

I watched all 33 episodes over the course of a couple of weeks last summer and felt genuinely sad when it ended! If you’re interested in game design, Double Fine or even just the rollercoaster of a bunch of smart people working on a big creative endeavour, I heartily recommend it.
