Every time I meet someone from Indiana I get so excited because Indiana and Hawaii are the only two US states with a bonafide regional clothing item.
And now at LAST a book about senior cords! And better yet, its written, designed, and printed in Indiana. www.commercialarticle.com/product/comm...

Always wondered how an "Indian" pattern came to be called "Paisley". Then I saw a sign to Paisley outside Glasgow airport, and things started to click. But I didn't look too deep, and now don't need to, because the amazing @trufelman.bsky.social got on it.

The latest episode of @trufelman.bsky.social Avery Trufelman’s always-excellent podcast Articles of Interest should be of particular interest to comics people. They go into real depth on Dan Decarlo’s & Archie Comics’s long history as fashion influencers.
