Hello everyone! It's been a couple days since deadline, and while this announcement was meant to go out yesterday, we ran into some stuff that needed to be taken care of on our end that delayed it. We apologize for the lateness! First and foremost, we want to thank everyone that got their entries in! It has been an absolute delight to see what everyone came up with during this event! Part of yesterday was spent compiling all current entries and putting them into the gallery section of the Gifts of Eos Carrd so that they can be viewed all in one place. This will be updated periodically as later entries come in! Second, we want to assure everyone that hasn't gotten their entries in yet that everything is still good and fine! You're good and fine. As a general address to those that ever need grace or more time in general for any reason: we always want you to prioritize your health and / or other things in your real life that take precedence over an online event. We never want to pry into what personal stuff you've got going on, and genuinely want you to weigh how much something is impacting you in real life is versus taking the time to do something that will maybe only add onto that stress. We are more than happy to allow time that is needed, as well as reach out to your gift recipient in order to make sure that everyone is in the loop of what's going on and when to kind of expect a gift be made. Likewise, if you ever need to drop out, let us know and we can start getting our pinch hitters sorted so that an ideal pinch hitter that still fits the bill of enjoying the content that can be made for the recipient in question can be contacted.
Third, there are a handful of things we've learned and will put into our planning for 2026 that will hopefully make things smoother and better for everyone involved! These include: • Making OC references mandatory during future sign-ups for those of you that have them and would want them considered for your gift • Offering an optional section during sign-ups for participants to offer prompts, ideas, or scenes that they would enjoy their gifter to take inspiration from (which can include excerpts from their own fics if they want! like a mini-big-bang if you want to consider it that) • Linking our Ao3 collection(s) on our socials just so people know it's there Of course, if there are any other things that we could do better next year, we would love to hear your input so that we can see about making everything as smooth as possible for everyone involved! We do genuinely hope that everyone had fun during the event, and we hope to see you again in Gifts of Eos 2026 for the 10 Year Anniversary of FFXV!

My gift to @godspoison.bsky.social for the Gifts of Eos exchange! I always love drawing Noct and some feathery friends. Finding out that there's evidence that archaeopteryx had pretty black feathers during the event made it feel like the little guy was just Noct-coded, so I couldn't resist!
If we don't have responses from participants stating they need extra time, and/or if we don't hear from them on or after December 14th, we will be messaging any pinch hitters who have opted to volunteer their time and efforts to ensure that gifts get made and sent out.
While it's not a requirement that you tell us you need grace that extends to Dec. 14th, it's nice to have a heads up. Our big concern is if time's needed beyond that so that we can make sure everyone is on the same page, & we can assure that recipients are aware that their gift will be delayed.

Fanfiction Entry by Siwan for crazyloststar The House in the Woods “Remind me again why we had to push the car all the way to Hammerhead when we could have called for it to be towed there?” Prompto was sitting on the ground, his back resting against the garage’s outside wall, panting heavily. Noctis had slumped next to him and seemed on the verge to take a nap. Gladio rolled his eyes at them; he was standing, arms crossed, but soon a little smile danced on his lips when he replied: “Because you two obviously need that kind of exercise to strengthen you a bit more.” “And may I also point out the fact that considering we are short on gils as it is, we couldn’t afford the extra cost,” Ignis added, being his usual rational self. “Wait, if we don’t have money, how are we going to pay for the car, and more importantly, where are we going to sleep?!?” Prompto had jumped on his feet and he looked concerned, while Noctis simply yawned as if he couldn’t care less. Gladio patted the blonde man on the back. “I believe it’s about time we have that camping trip we always wanted together, and maybe we can find some work in the process.” Ignis was about to protest and remind him that they were supposed to reach Altissia as soon as possible, but the Prince’s shield had a point. In their current predicament, they were grounded and depended on when the Regalia would be fixed and how they would be able to pay for the repairs. “Alright, let’s get started. Gladio, Noct, why don’t you check the camping gear supplies, see if we have everything we need; meanwhile Prompto and I will head to the diner, buy some food and see if anyone knows of some work we could do in the area.” “Sounds like a plan!” The shield said and grabbed the prince by the shoulder, forcing him to stand up. “Come on your Highness, now is not the time to nap!”

Celebrating 9 years since we first drove off into the horizon on an unforgettable road trip in Final Fantasy XV.
What was the best recipe you made on this journey?
Noctis and Prompto in a limited palette of black, white, gray, and red as a contrast. The background is a cool blue.
