That money should go to food. Every classroom should have a smorgasbord for students to fix themselves a little plate (crudité and what-not) and then get to work being loved and supported by the teachers so they can learn.

I have so much self-loathing because of this. So many decades of therapy trying to not be this way.

I’m also curious about that. And oddly I was just listening to some 80’s-90’s Indigo Girls and some of their lyrics are so spot on with what’s going on now. Indigo Girls! You have to really pay attention to the lyrics bc the music doesn’t sound angry.

So… this hits (positively) on so many levels. My son wasn’t identified as having autism until he was 14.5. And all through his childhood my loved ones were very judgmental of me for not “forcing” him to do normal things. They see how well-adjusted and happy he is now and admit to me that I did well!

Now that makes sense.

Wait, but did you see all the new old-timey looking street lamps running down Witherspoon street? They’re really bright! I’m wondering if they’ll be taking down the standard, taller streetlights. It’s a bit much with both. Or are the new ones temporary?
