I don't know if the noise cancelling software would interfere with the tonality of your voice during recording or anything, though. I don't have an advanced mic setup or that kind of experience.

When the Ohmies worked on your birthday vid, I was really bothered by my mic picking up BG noise. Someone suggested the Steelseries GG software suite. I don't have their mic, but the software works anyway, and its noise cancelling feature really helped my recording. steelseries.com/gg

My brain immediately wants to think of that as the Pokemon aesthetic, but that doesn't feel fair to the game, since I'm sure it's drawing on a lot of pixel-art games for inspiration. (Not that looking like Pokemon is bad, for that matter!)
