“This is almost like a proxy fight for 2028 in the presidential election" - @admcrlsn.bsky.social on the heated U.S. Senate race in Michigan between Abdul El-Sayed, Mallory McMorrow and Haley Stevens.

The Democrats Don’t Know Who They’ll Be in 2028. Michigan May Offer an Answer. The outrage over Abdul El-Sayed’s appearance with Hasan Piker reveals a schism that runs deeper than his Democratic primary race against Mallory McMorrow.

NEW: amid the Hasan Piker outrage cycle, both things can be true:
🗳️the Democratic party is looking to this Senate race for answers on who to be in 2028.
🗳️Michigan voters don't care about the party debate and just want to afford rent/healthcare.

The endorsement arrives as leaked audio about her “outstanding” AIPAC position paper makes the rounds again (reported by DropSite News in November 2025).

McMorrow has publicly rejected AIPAC support. AIPAC has in turn attacked her and backs her opponent Rep. Hayley Stevens.

How Does TrackAIPAC Actually Track AIPAC? The social media warriors have helped make AIPAC a politically toxic brand — and fueled debate over what it means to be "pro-Israel."

NEW: We untangled how @trackaipac.com tracks AIPAC. If you’ve ever wondered why one candidate/member of Congress is doomed to a red graphic while another is spared; or how a candidate can have a 🟥 graphic despite taking $0 from AIPAC, this story is for you.

There’s a lot to criticize/question here but can confirm that Biss’ Jewish identity or anyone’s identity/faith is NOT a part of TrackAIPAC’s methodology. Also wouldn’t consider a city’s mayor and candidate for Congress who is now favored to win in the general a “random” person. Stay tuned for more!

Israel’s Deadly Blockade Traps 7 U.S. Doctors in Gaza While waging war on Iran, Israel is blocking medical trips into and out of Gaza, putting vulnerable patients at risk.

SCOOP: I spoke with a U.S. doctor who is currently stuck in Gaza. The Israeli govt. is again blocking medical workers from entering or leaving Gaza, the latest restriction placed on the Palestinian territories since Israel-U.S. launched its war on Iran.

While Talarico calls for partially defunding ICE (not abolition) in favor of services (like healthcare) he also supports boosts to border funds, such as The Dignity Act, which increases militarization and surveillance at ports of entry. w/ @akelalacy.bsky.social

Will James Talarico Really Fight for Justice in Texas? The race between Talarico and Rep. Jasmine Crockett emphasized style over substance. Now local organizers want concrete promises.

NEW: Progressives are already pushing Talarico on Israel & Gaza, ICE. Organizers saw little daylight between he & Crockett on those policies but saw more room to move him than they did her. Also heard he’s being advised on improving on Gaza. W/ @jonahmv.bsky.social theintercept.com/2026/03/04/j...

For those unfamiliar w/ Stew Peters, he's in my profile of the Anti-Zionist America PAC, which he promotes. Peters often uses Israel's genocide to rail against Jewish people, using antisemitic slurs and spreading conspiracies of a "satanic" agenda of global control.

The pro-Israel establishment often falsely attacks criticism of Israel or advocacy for Palestine as "antisemitic."

But this story grapples with what happens when anti-Zionism blends with actual antisemitism and the harm it causes movements for Palestine. @benlorber8.bsky.social said it best:
