Hiw did I not know we're getting a ridiculously, awesomely accurate-looking Street Fighter movie this year? That's real, right? Because it looks too much like an expensive April Fool's to be true, but I want it to be.

I only realized immediately after posting that this needs clarification: My Saturday mornings often involve getting up, taking my ADHD medication, then a quick stability and agility workout before breakfast. So my Concerta often kicks between the first and second set. That's what I mean.
Getting into exercising past 30 is so wild so often. Like, experiencing that performance-enhancing drugs enhance your performance? Wild!
As a trans woman that came out as an adult, I can't echo this enough. Experiencing the constant undertones of sexual violence that weave through our daily lives for the first time as an adult - and one that's used to being a straight-passing white cis male - is a big part of the trans culture shock.
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
Watching The Pitt always makes me nostalgic for working in the ER.
(Before anyone calls social services because that's insane, I was an intake assistant for weekends and holidays, which are usually the slow days, and worked a maximum of 6 hours per day and 18 hours per week.)

We all have our problems with the SkySports comentators but "This is looking pretty comfortable for Kimi Antonelli, of looking comfortable means you're being pursued by a 7-time world champion." really is a solid line. No notes.
What a disappointing weekend. There have got to be less of these small mistakes, if Larsen wants to see results this season.
I totally recognize that my favorite driver screwed herself, and would've been last anyway. But can we talk about how a Ferrari car was screwed by pit strategy in a series that does not have it stops? #F1A #F1Academy #chinesegp
What happened to Ella Lloyd?!?
Sorry, but the Sephora car looks like a skunk

Die Schiedsrichterin hat in der letzten halben Stunde aber auch echt abgebaut. Die Elfmeterentscheidungen waren schon vorher ein wenig fragwürdig, aber am Ende war das ja nur noch Mist.
>> What exactly is Ash's position? I've read up to the red card scene and so far
- she's a midfielder
- she hadn't gotten sent off in 12 years on the pro level
- she doesn't score much
- she enthusiastically doesn't like backwards passes
She's got to be the most offensively-minded 8 in history ...
I'm sitting at home right now with a stomach thing, can't play football and am all caught up on Bridgerton. But in ironic twist of fate, I found Clare Lydon's The Princess Match, which seems to be the book written for this exact occasion. And it's really fun! But I have one question: >>
"Eloise should be the lesbian Bridgerton."
"They should both be lesbians."
You know that until J.K. Rowling gets bored with tying nooses for trans children and decides that aro/ace is threatening women by ruining the birth rate or something, aro/ace rep in media is still allowed in Britain, right?
Excited to see what Generation Gamma is gonna do with the number 65
As someone who likes, engages with and sometimes studies both Star Trek and teen/YA media, quick note on Starfleet Academy: It's solid so far. It's absolutely YA, but it's absolutely Star Trek too. It visibly struggles to bring both together, but it strives to. Trekkies should check it out!
I reread Molly J Bragg's Shatter and then discovered that there's a new one in the series. These things are just the best comfort read, but wow, did I forget they go hard on the weird stuff.
I think I recommend Shatter to one of my (high school) students once, and I'm glad she's not into superheroes
Hat hier jemand All the Things (S)he Said von Inka Lindberg gelesen?
Vi from Arcane in a Red Bull F1 driver's outfit spraying Caitlyn from Arcane in a Mercedes F1 driver's outfit with a chamapgne bottle. Both are laughing.
That I got this in my Insta feed is ... valid, honestly. That it exists is ... amazing. Buuuut ... the teams are so wrong. Caitlyn would totally be a Ferrari driver and Vi would be McLaren or Williams.
I just wanted to order my favorite cheap socks again from Amazon in my American History lecture, and then I remember how much ungodly smut I have in my buing history.
On the left, the top of the Women's A-League table with Victory on top, on the right the bottom of the Men's A-League table with Victory in last place.
My interest in high contrast fotography.
I'm excited for next season too! Lloyd, Palmowski, and Larsen are shoo-ins for a title bid at this point, potentially Gademan too. And Kosterman (who actually did some very good stuff in British F4 this season) and Robertson could be up in the standings too ...
And for the usual Alba Larsen review, what a race!?! Like, we all agree it was a team play, right? She defended, let Maya through after, took Nina right out of the fight, and as soon as Maya got past Doriane, she was up there again. Respect for the team game, and honestly such a good race!
Huge Congratulations to Doriane Pin!!! What a season, what a championship win!
