Another Monday, another episode tonight. This week, the history of Canadian disabled people fighting to be included in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
You'll also get to see me be chaotic, so that's a bonus.
Watch later today on @accessiblemedia.bsky.social and at amiplus.ca

Jennifer is spot on here--though I have had better luck with follow up. This is why I always advise folks looking to support to list what they can specifically do. Otherwise, it's a bit like that George Carlin bit about helping a widow.
So sorry to hear, Eva. If I can help lighten the load in any way--I'm really good at ghost writing annoying administrative emails or being an extra set of eyes on a draft that has to go out, for example--give me a shout.
Just don't tell the language commissioner that if you ever move there, haha.
So, the Chicago Sky are the WNBA's version of the mid 2000's LA Clippers?
It's new episode day for History in 60. This week...comedy! Watch on AMI/AMI+ and learn more here.

Oh, absolutely! My email is John@Jloeppky.com if that's easier!
Hi Jennifer,
How cool! Thanks for reading my work and if you teach it again I'm happy to Zoom in if that's helpful!
Thanks for flagging (and editing) @barryp.bsky.social
I am a file organization person and yet I have not conquered this in email. If you have capacity, let me know if you have any tips. I am an inbox zero person on the good health days, but searching for old PR emails and the like is becoming harder and harder.
K but like, as your friend a) you're a big deal and b) I would love to be on your podcast again.
I officially have a tv show launching today!
History in 60 is a show, on @accessiblemedia.bsky.social, that takes a deep dive into Canadian disability history. It premiers today at 9 Eastern and I'm so thankful to have the team that we've had on this production!

Hi Rainesford. Can you send me an email about a possible project (John@JLoeppky.com) please?
I once made a mall kiosk vendor deeply concerned because it was a toddler shirt that said I can't walk and I still hate the Bombers (as in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers CFL team) and I wheeled up and asked if they had it in an adult size.
Does Nanaimo also have a Gasoline Alley?
I had a prof in university who taught/partially specialized in Joyce and, yeah, his writing tends to explode your brain every once in a while doesn't it?
If they do an e-book, let me know!
This is what I mean when I tell American colleagues that my reporting on American political figures is approximately one billion times easier than reporting on the realities of Canadian political life.

My knees are weather veins, I swear.
You can pay by credit card, but you have to use an outside provider for reasons I have yet to understand.
I'm not claiming to have ME/CFS, but I have to say that the weather shifts--and how much my CP body hates them--can sometimes make me feel like I'm bordering on a chronic fatigue diagnosis.
For what it's worth, I use Good Tape and Otter, depending on the day. Good Tape has a better data security record (they don't train on your recordings, for example) but sometimes struggles with recordings that don't have the best audio.

Hi Ziya, only vaguely related, but would love to help build out your disability coverage if that's ever of interest! Normally I would email, but figured this would be faster and easier!
Can you put me on whatever pr list you're maintaining. Love covering this sort of stuff when I can as a disabled journalist when that intersection shows up.
This is not me begging for a review copy, I promise I'm not, I'm just having a day where I could really use @sesmith.lol's book being published earlier.
Thanks!
Can I also be added to this email chain (former freelancer there)
I know I owe you an email but if you have capacity, absolutely hire Rainesford for this :)
