That's a great shot!

I'm always impressed how far they can stretch without falling over! That one is far more graceful than the pictures I got last year of a young green heron.

That's a great shot! I struggle to get good pictures of swallows in flight!

Nice picture! I've been having fun getting some good Waxwing pictures lately. Some of my favorite birds.

A Cedar Waxwing playing with its food this past Fall. They do some interesting stuff when they're eating!

Cute bunny picture from a recent walk. How is it that these adorable little creatures grow up to be such a menace to my flowers?!?

Yeah, they can be elusive! In our yard, the robins keep driving them off. I think they must have a nest around. Or they're just jerks.

I was looking for more Cedar Waxwing pictures today but the Robins kept on chasing them off. This picture was a well framed group of 3 Waxwings a fraction of a second earlier. Next thing I know, I've got a Robin photobombing the shot ๐Ÿ˜’

Worked out in the end though, as this one is nice too.

Three Cedar Waxwings in a Maple tree.

Three Cedar Waxwings in a Maple tree.

Found these Cedar Waxwings hanging out in our backyard yesterday. Some of my favorite birds to have around! My wife thinks they look like they're posing for an album cover ๐Ÿ˜€ #birds

Pigeon Commuter Mug City pigeon commuter mug for all of your favorite hot beverages made in the USA with money going to support local wildlife rescue charity to help save birds and more

Was in NYC recently and found this wonderful mug at @cafegrumpy.bsky.social!
cafegrumpy.com/pigeon-commu...

They nailed the expression on the pigeon ๐Ÿ˜‚

Reminded me of the great pigeon watching book from @rosemarymosco.com:

Both are totally worth picking up!

Gary has TONS of great photos of New York, take a look:
bsky.app/profile/gary...

Planning a shot like this takes serious effort.

Not sure why this post didn't at least link back to his great work!

That's the exact path I had for some of my first QFX CoS configs!๐Ÿ˜… Testing bit me later too.

Well, that and the fact that QFX has some very odd multicast CoS settings when compared EX.

Thanks for the final on this! It's a good reminder of the ways things can get weird.

Good callout. The joy of QoS in any platform is direction matters! Without more context on the policy being deployed I'd just be guessing though.

Day One Books | Juniper Networks Day One Books cover networking technologies using step-by-step instructions and practical examples written by engineers. The Day One Library has over a million downloads and counting.

There are some other great resources in the Juniper books library here:
www.juniper.net/documentatio...

This one is a great start:

The Day One Deploying Basic QoS v2 link is good too. Chapter 4 is full of examples.

Good luck!

Advanced QoS Verification - Mist Configuration on the switch "set groups mist-qos-default class-of-service classifiers dscp dscp-classifier-default forwarding-class bizapp-af2 loss-priority high code-points af22", "set groups mist-qo...

Yeah, the documentation can be fun at times. QoS can be hardware specific as well. I've had some fun issues with EX and QFX CoS settings are different.

Have you checked a functional design as a reference? The Mist doc scan help:
www.mist.com/documentatio...

Or, that could be EXACTLY what you typed

Yeah, you don't see it often, but they aren't too picky. I've seen them chasing squirrels, but mostly when they've got colts with them, and I don't think they were looking for a snack.

Nice! We don't have storks around me. Instead, we get Sandhill Cranes.

They're neat, but can be kind of vicious. This one plucked a mouse out the grass without missing a stride!
