Kinda nailed My Way though.
Who’s that guy on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny that’s doing my heid in?
#worldcupdraw the mute button is going to be busy tonight.
I was one of those left at 3-0. Disappointed with my performance if I’m honest. Will put in extra effort for the rest of the season.
Great album. Saw them on the ‘94 tour and then again last year on the anniversary tour. If you get the chance to see them live, take it!

I have 600+ records and that’s about enough. I’ll probably buy a few more in the future but I pretty much have everything I want or need. People who have thousands are mostly wankers. I’m giving up posting pics of my records online too as I don’t care when I see yours.
In the 70’s my dad done some plumbing work for the parents of Eric Faulkner from the Bay City Rollers. Not strictly my story, but it’s all I’ve got.
Calm doon
No
Unbelievable. Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK. We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man. Agree? Add your name to the petition today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/no...
Dear (not my) King Charles. If you have to meet up with that cunt Trump, do not come to Scotland to do it. We don’t want either of you here. 🏴
Is it just me that doesn’t get excited by Record Store Day? #vinyl
I’ve seen comments along the lines of ‘pay better money, get a better manager’. Aye? Ask Man U fans how that’s working out. We have to give Critchley at least two transfer windows.
There’s a lot of talk about sacking the board, the manager and half the team. Can we sack some of the ‘support’ too?
The cover of the album Irish Tour ‘74 by Rory Gallagher
The front cover of the Brian Eno album Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy
My brother told me recently that Blonde on Blonde was the first ever double album. Surely there must have been one before 1966?
Cheers Joel.
Use AI to re-make I, Claudius. Keep all the actor’s performances but make the sets, backgrounds etc. more Game of Thrones like. And re-boot ‘It’s a Knockout’ - I know, I know but people dressed at penguins on a rotating platform trying to collect water in a plastic bucket is funny.
Enjoy. I am now organising myself to return to the market this coming Sunday. It has suddenly become a huge grail.
Now regretting not picking up that Rockpile LP that I saw for sale on Saturday. This is my worst record-buying habit, non-buyer’s regret!
I’m in the UK and in a sort of simpatico way I have slept on and off from midnight and here I am at 5am wide awake, looking for something to do (actually I’ll be getting ready for work in about an hour and a bit, but you get my drift)
I used to have this LP but lost it somewhere along the lines. Absolutely loved it. It’s been on my wantlist for years but never got around to replacing it. There’s no excuse for that and I promise to rectify that soon.
A heavy set front door with a brass knocker in the shape of a hand.
I saw a very similar knocker when I was in Amsterdam recently
Here are three:
Troublegum by Therapy?
Taking Tiger Mountain (by Strategy) by Brian Eno
Irish Tour 1974 by Rory Gallagher
I fall into both camps here. I mostly buy records to play them but there are two acts in particular where I am a bit of a completist and will buy rarities, imports etc. with no intention of playing them. I am happy with that.
The front cover of the B B King LP Live at the Regal.
The front cover of the LP Abattoir Blues by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
No. 2 in an occasional series. Randomly selected from my record collection. #vinyl
Going! See you there?
