It's a screenshot from CNN. A newscaster is agape at some statistics, though it's implausible that he hasn't already seen those statistics before going on the air to talk about them. The statistics: In Feb 2025, "Gen Z" polled with +10pp net favorability for Trump, and in Jan 2026, they polled at -32pp. Donald is inside the infographic. They choose a picture of him that makes him look like he just got some bad news and is pretending to know what it means and that he is tough. Six stars in the infographic signal "America." To be honest, the design makes it look like Windows 95, with the blue title bar and white text, and the color swatches that let the anchor annotate the infographic make the whole thing feel a lot like Microsoft Paint. That's fine with me. I'm just upset about the missed pun.

I try not to allow much "political messaging" thought into my brain but I still get irrationally upset when an obvious pun is missed. How do you run a story on Trump's net approval among Gen Z dropping 42pp (!) in a year, but miss the "Not Z" angle???
