Some days I wonder why I didn't study IT and open a business called "Your Website Is Shit And It's Costing You Money" where I employ someone to look at websites and check a form to indicate why the website is shit and then approach the business to ask if they want it unshittified.

I most certainly hope so!
This isn't actually true - Amazon sell books at below *your* wholesale price.
Back in '09 I was working at a bookshop and the reps were telling us that Amazon demanded a lower cost price from all publishers or they would refuse to stock them. The publishers lowered the cost price for them.
If we could choose the books we want on it I'd go for matching pillowcases as well.
One of my friends on the Book of Face posted this this morning; definitely want to go end credits, especially if you want to clear the theatre.
A bit of justified rage from JB @birmo.bsky.social
Let's not forget the 90 million eligible voters that stayed at home because (one would assume) they didn't care either way.
Pre-Covid I was looking to return to uni to study something interesting and future-proof; one of the things I considered was journalism; writing, editing, publishing seemed like a good fit. A job-network mob told me I'd be better off starting a blog for all a degree in journalism would be worth...
Where is this Q&A linked?
I remember when I started studying at UQ when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and I thought I might like to grab a couple of Journalism subjects for my BA. The Journalism department had their own degree back in those days and it was a case of Fuck-You to anyone not studying Journalism.
Breturn of the Bredi?
Well worth the read; if you aren't follow JB's Substacks, you should be. He's an interesting and amusing at times fellow, and pretty damn good author.

Did you go into the pool intentionally or accidentally?
Trump could snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory faster than Herschelle Gibbs in a World Cup game.
At this point in the conflict Brig General Ebrahim Zolfaghari seems like the most together player. I know the bar is pretty low, but he seems well-spoken and on point. Records a good sound bite. And looks like he has zero chance of shitting his pants, fucking a couch, or getting drunk off his tits.
Fair.
If Solahart or Rheem had pushed hard during the '80s with additional solar and battery tech we'd be pissing on the Mining Billionaires on the street.
("pissing on the Mining Billionaires on the street" is a quote from Hamlet, I believe)
Well, there goes my advice...
Reading the latest (maybe) New Scientist magazine (I picked it up because it's about The Human Mind™) and there is a quote from someone named Lauren Human. Yes, Human is her surname. I even googled it because I thought it must be a mistake. Nope. There is a human out there with Human as a surname...
He's not bitter.
Also, $25 isn't much to ask to put this country back on it's feet and a hat back on it's head!
Maybe he worked out that he can sit on his arse and do nothing and still be paid as a politician.
I have heard that researching cocktails is gruelling work, and this fine writer is doing the hard yards on the research front.
I don't use the word 'hero' very often, but this man is a hero and deserves everyone's support!
I was just thinking about your spy romance novels the other day.
A bit of light reading to add to the pile(s) of books I already have...
Did you ask for a chicken Twisty in your drink?
I hear once you reach a certain level it plateaus. Or becomes background suffering.
