I genuinely lost my mind and had I not started therapy I would be divorced right now

I just read a couple blog posts last night that apparently Figma's file format is terrible for LLMs because it's difficult to work with programatically.

Another amusing takeaway from this is how many things are CONSTANTLY changing names.
“That’s what people called it when it was Macy’s and when it was Hecht’s, and when it was Strawbridge’s and Lord & Taylor too.”
Like, that’s so many stores for one space, and each such a short time.
I think there is a narrative around therapy that your therapist will tell you something like "you don't open up to others because your parents didn't hug you" and it will be this sudden moment of clarity. I also think it doesn't work like that in the real world.
I honestly couldn't tell you a specific thing I learned in therapy. I've never had one of those "and I felt that" moments where my therapist gave me some profound revelation about a feeling I was having.
I can say that 5+ years of consistent sessions has improved all my relationships immeasurably.
You guys, look at this thing. You just jam a whole stick of butter in there and it melts it and you can just spray hot liquid butter on whatever. The 80s really was the decade of insane kitchen appliances.
Spring in Philadelphia.

Both the game and the broadcast tonight have the most rancid vibes

Does anyone actually know what this game is being broadcast on? Is it on the pumps at the 22nd and Walnut Sunoco?
Literally my wife’s first words lol
They did, but the landscape drastically changed since then
This has basically been going on since pre-pandemic. Amazon ate the middle (Borders, BN, etc) but mostly left the indies alone. Anyone who's surprised indie book stores are thriving hasn't been paying attention.
NPR reported on this in 2018.

In general, CEOs contribute basically nothing to the operations of a company. If you want to know how jumbo corps are run, listen to people who are in the trenches, not in the corner office.
I really don’t want to move my Mastodon account to one of the big ones like mastodon.social but I think it would be cool if I could actually see all the replies to a post!
New Jersey's 23-game Jeopardy champion Jamie Ding is more than a self-described faceless bureaucrat. He allocates Low-Income Housing Tax Credits ("LIHTC") to fund affordable housing construction across New Jersey.
We used his historic run to explain LIHTC!

Also is it good if they are all reverse cards?
Every month your income is being drained more efficiently than ever before in human history because your access to culture and the tools you need to survive are gatekept by an increasing breadth and depth of professional ticket-clippers. Profit is the only optimisation function still respected.
In all seriousness I’ve been thinking about setting up my home server as a git runner and I really think this is the impetus I need
Is it the fastest? No. But is it the best? Also no. But is it nice to use? Absolutely not.
Get it before tonight’s game! Who knows, maybe you’ll enjoy a paper score card some night too.
It’s so fucking funny how Comcast Spectacor always has a reason they aren’t developing the sports complex into something worthwhile. More and more cities are realizing this is the way, and Philly’s gonna be left behind, but hey at least you can hang out in a parking lot with your friends.

I once worked with a libertarian who absolutely hated anything the company did that was not direct cash compensation, and I think free ice cream was the thing that sent him the most into a rage
